Stand up tall and take a big step froward so that when you bend your knees your front knee stays above the ankle. Try to get deep enough in the lunge position that your back knee touches the floor, or comes close. Then step the back leg to meet the front and continue forward.

FUNCTIONAL FITNESS TRAINING: Training the body to work as one efficient unit in order to perform daily activities effectively, using minimal energy. EveryBODY is different, so the spectrum of exercises will vary based on your individual goals and current limitations.
CORRECTIONAL FOCUS: Everyone has imbalances whether it’s between your dominant/ nondominant sides, sitting at a desk or in a car for hours a day, or being hunched over a computer or phone for excessive amounts of time. These all effect how our bodies are positioned and in turn how they move. These are also not something we have to live with anymore. I will assess your body’s movement patterns to determine what muscles are weak and which muscles are overactive and tight in order to design a program to correct these imbalances and have you moving more correctly and effectively.
STRENGTHENING THE BODY AS A WHOLE: After your body is moving more balanced and effectively, we will strengthen your body as a whole, using your goals as a guideline so that you feel healthier, stronger, and more balanced than you ever have before!
