I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Encourager and Motivator (no certification required) with a Corrective Exercise Specialization, Functional Nutrition Specialization (also through NASM), a BS in Kinesiology, and a genuine passion to help people.
I worked in corporate gyms for years and had felt continually disappointed with the absence of consideration and care that members and clients were experiencing. When I had the opportunity to create a business that is fully my own and represents my sincere concern and care that I have for people, I jumped (with proper technique) at it! I am so thankful for this opportunity and have been living it out to the fullest!
I love inspiring others to reach their goals no matter how big or small they may seem. I feel so passionate about using my knowledge, experience, and positive momentum to change the lives of people around me. FUNCTIONAL FITNESS TRAINING
Training the body to work as one efficient unit in order to perform daily activities effectively, using minimal energy. EveryBODY is different, so the spectrum of exercises will vary based on your individual goals and current limitations.
Everyone has imbalances whether it’s between your dominant/ non-dominant sides, sitting at a desk or in a car for hours a day, or being hunched over a computer or phone for excessive amounts of time. Our bodies tend to mold themselves around the positions we find ourselves in the most often. This effects how our bodies are comfortably positioned and, in turn, how we move whether it is correct or not, which causes aches, pains, muscular imbalances and joint deteriorations. This not something we have to live with anymore. I will assess your body’s movement patterns to determine what muscles are weak and which muscles are overactive and tight in order to design a program to correct these imbalances and have you moving more correctly and effectively. Over time will we rebalance your body and fully transform the way you move and feel in your skin.
